In October 2007 some players separated because of some disagreements from the former football team. Because you couldn't stop doing this interesting sport, the parents pooled together to find a solution.    With the F.S.V. Tarforst we found a society which wanted to support this project.     After some meetings with the F.S.V. management it was certain, that we had found a competent organisation. That is how the ''Trier Wolverines'' were founded.    

A big achievement for us was keeping our ancient Head Coach Georg Hammelmann for the new team. As Defense Coordinator we engaged Philipp Schneider.

Both coaches have National League experiences and started  working motivated.   

The management of the Wolverines consists of young people and their parents.   Because of sedulous efforts of the management and the young players the initial roster of 25 young players could increase up to 45 young players. The management was also very efficient providing training- and game equipment. 

The since the 1st January 2008 existing Team first trained on the sports field of Tarforst.   Now the sports field of Feyen was found qualified and is used as a training- and game field.
