Subsequent the senior team competed the Neuwied Rockland Raiders. This match was thought to stabilize the 2^nd rank . But it turned out to be different.

The Raiders showed up with 18 members only, whereas the FSV Trier-Tarforst Wolverines were present with 30 members that day, but still they fought like they were a lot more.

From the very beginning the Raiders showed, that they were not willing to except their last weeks defeat and put the Wolverines Defense under hard pressure. Until then the FSV Tarforst Wolverines Defense was able to stop the efforts of the Rockland Raiders early.

But the FSV Wolverines Offense had to compete with a strong Neuwied Defense. Although Hamelmann was able to make a few Yards frequently, the Raiders concentrated on stopping him.

So until halftime there were a lot of changes in right of attacking and defense.

Shortly before the 2^nd quarter was over, the Rockland Raiders made it up to 5 Yards to the Wolverines endzone by a nice pass and a foul against the Wolverines. In their 3^rd try the Raiders scored their first points, but the TPC was prevented.

Score at breaktime was 0:6.

The 2^nd halftime started and one thought the Wolverines would continue playing like they did in the week before.

Good Runs and passes took them close to the Raiders endzone, but they needed 4 tries to score their first points with Georg Hamelmann. The TPC was achieved by Runningback Johannes Gruber and they led 8:6.

Right after that the Wolverines Defense was no able to stop the drives and passes of the Raiders in time , and therefore the Raiders gaind leadingship with 8:12. In the last quarter they scored another touchdown. The Raiders won this game with score of 8:18.

“ Today the Defense clearly lost the game, simple runs and passes have not been stopped in time. The tackles were put so bad, that it was easy to bypass them and this is what made us lose. “, says Headcoach Georg Hamelmann.

Upcoming Sunday the FSV Tarforst Wolverines will meet the PST Stampers, who are planning on playing a “Perfect Season” this time and try to climb into a better league.
