American highschool supports the Trier Wolverines |

Last season the american player Eric Majorwitz played as quarterback
for the Wolverines adultteam. However Eric Majorwitz is not only a
player of the Wolverines, he also supports the nearby armybase
Baumholder as a coach for their highschoolteam
(http://www.baum-hs.eu.dodea.edu).
The highschoolteam Baumholder plays in the "European Highschool league"
in the division II against the teams of the highsschools Shape, Bamberg,
Ansbach, Bitburg, Hohenfels, Mannheim, Aviano, ISB and Naples
(http://www.hsfootballeurope.net).
With the help of Eric Majorwitz the Wolverines could get in contact
with the Baumholder highschool last season.
Unfortunately a scrimmage " Under the Lights" between both youth-teams
could not take place in the past month due to changes in the gameplan of
the american league. However a new date will be set up for sure.
The highschool team surprised the Wolverines in their last pratice with
a special surprise. The Highschool gave the real astonished Wolverines
team trousers, footballs and various football-equipment..
Great thanks from here again to the highschool Baumholder and the big
support by Eric Majorwitz .
The Wolverines coaches promises itself further synergy effects for their
team from the contact with the highschool the upcoming season and look
forward to a good co-operation and hopefully some exciting common
american-football events together with the americans. |
